Some people are suggesting distributing fliers asking people to do so or installing those little bag stations …but I say (sadly) that the kind of folks that don’t pick up after their pets, aren’t going to suddenly start doing so because of a flier, or a plastic bag station!

Any suggestions?

There are very expensive dental rinses that you can purchase to add to your pets water to reduce plaque build-up…I wondered if there is something you could make at home that would be as effective and more economical. I am not familiar with the active ingredient in the rinses so I don’t know if it is something you can purchase by itself? If anyone knows of a safe alternative to the store bought rinses I’d love to know about that!

My dog likes nuts, and I used to have a kitten that adored raisens. My sister used to have a little dog that liked veggies more than meat. She would hide it’s meat under a can of veg-all to get it to eat some. I also used to have geese who loved carrots. I would throw one in the pond and they would have a great time diving for it and chewing, then letting it go to dive for it again untill it was gone. What kinds of unusual foods do your pets enjoy?
